A convenient and universal interface that allows you to control the new standard head unit from the steering wheel buttons. It not only retains all the functionality of resistive buttons, but also significantly expands it due to the possibility of programming two functions per button at once. The SWI-X1 is easy to connect and configure, and comes with detailed installation instructions. Even with the subsequent change of the radio, the interface will remain as functional, you just need to reconnect the wires.

This is a compact module in a sealed case with wires that are connected to the SHGU block according to the diagrams shown.

The interface has two connection options. The first is a wired method through a mini-jack connector, the second is wireless via an infrared port. The latter will be relevant if the radio does not have a mini-jack connector.

The scope of application of this device is quite wide, it is suitable for any car brands that have resistive buttons on the steering wheel. It is important to note that CAN is not suitable here. On the other hand, the interface is compatible with different head units, and the manufacturer will not matter here, the main requirement is the presence of a remote control.

Each button can be programmed with one or two commands. For example, Scek + will correspond to a similar button on the remote and Preset when pressed for a long time. Likewise, the Mute button can not only mute the sound, but also perform the Power function.

Resetting the settings and bringing the interface to its initial state is performed in stages in three steps:
- Disconnect the interface from + 12V power supply
- Connect white wire to ground
- Apply power to the interface. At the same time, two LEDs on the case will blink, and the device will be released from the functions previously programmed. The interface can then be retrained.
