Compact two-camera DVR with built-in GPS module, specially designed to meet the current requirements for use in modern commercial, official or public transport (taxis, company cars, route taxis, buses, etc.). The video recorder not only captures all the details of what is happening in front of the car, but also captures the complete situation in the cabin, which is especially important when transporting passengers. The compact body has a modern stylish design and is made of high-quality plastic with rubberized inserts.

Video quality

Unlike its predecessor (GQ815), the new model GQ915 is equipped with two full-fledged FULL HD cameras capable of shooting in 1080p (1920x1080) high resolution at 30 frames per second, so that videos from each of the cameras are smooth, without jerks and gaps between clips.

There are 2 modes available:

FHD 1080p + FHD 1080p (front + salon) @ 30fps
FHD 1080p + HD 720p (front + salon) @ 30fps

The top-end modification of the Novatek 96663 processor with 1GB RAM, SONY EXMOR IMX323 (2.1 Mp) matrices, as well as glass wide-angle optics, consisting of 6 lenses with an IR filter, are responsible for the reference quality of shooting:

For additional adjustment of the salon camera, it is possible to adjust its tilt up to 60 ° vertically. The interior camera is also equipped with infrared illumination (4 IR diodes) for shooting in complete darkness, which is turned on automatically or manually through the settings menu. Highly sensitive video sensors SONY and high-aperture camera lenses provide a decent quality of shooting in any weather, both during the day and in the dark.

For additional video correction, there is a WDR (WideDynamicRange) function, which expands the dynamic range in difficult conditions (a sharp change in illumination when entering / exiting tunnels or underground parking lots, backlight, night shooting, etc.).

Loop recording

Recording is carried out continuously, so when the memory card is full, new clips will be saved to the card, erasing the oldest (in a circle). The length of the clips can be adjusted in the settings menu (1/3/5 minutes).

Support for 128GB cards

The ACV GQ915 video recorder supports stable operation with capacious Micro SD memory cards up to 128 GB (class 10 and higher), which allows you to store up to 12 hours of recording from two cameras on one card.

Display

The presence of a color display (1.5 ”) provides additional comfort when installing, configuring and operating the device. In addition to the images from both cameras, the display shows icons of active functions, the state of connection with satellites, date, time, current vehicle speed, and the display of the functionality of the main control buttons is also duplicated.

To increase the level of safety and comfort of the user, there are 2 screen saver modes with automatic activation after a configurable period of time:

"Time and speed" - only the current time and speed of movement is displayed on a dark background
"Display off" - temporary complete screen off

In the screen saver mode, the user can monitor the status of the device using LED indicators and not be distracted from the road, which is especially comfortable when driving in the dark. Exit from the screen saver mode by pressing any button.

Built-in GPS module

The device is equipped with a built-in GPS module for fixing the route, exact coordinates of movement and speed, as well as automatic correction of the date, time and time zone according to data from satellites. All data is displayed on videos in the form of stamps (adjustable in the menu):

Video footage recorded by the GQ915 video recorder allows you to get a complete detailed picture of the situation on the road, as well as inside the car, if the need arises.

Shock sensor

In the event of an accident, the built-in G-sensor (3-axis sensor) detects the collision and locks the emergency file from cyclic overwriting, placing it in a separate non-erasable folder on the memory card.

Any video can also be locked manually, both during the recording itself by pressing the corresponding button on the device, and afterwards, through the video playback menu.

Stable work in cold weather!

In addition to high quality shooting for daily continuous use, stable operation of the device is extremely important in all weather conditions and temperature conditions. ACV GQ915 boasts two supercapacitors (supercapacitors) with a capacity of 5 Farads each, which successfully replace the conventional budget lithium-ion battery and are designed to increase the level of safety and reliability of the device in various fields of application.

Equipping with supercapacitors significantly expands the operating temperature range of the DVR. Even in severe frost, the GQ915 turns on and starts shooting without any problems, and in the heat you can not be afraid of bloating and battery failure due to overheating. In addition, the presence of supercapacitors significantly extends the service life of the device, because they have a much longer service life compared to conventional batteries.

Mounting

ACV GQ915 has a very compact quick-release mount on 3M tape, which ensures reliable installation of the DVR on the car windshield and has the ability to freely rotate along the horizontal axis without restrictions. The scope of delivery includes an additional set of 3M adhesive tape of the required size in case the device needs to be moved to another car.

Direct connection to the vehicle electrical system

For direct connection to the vehicle's on-board network, ACV offers an optional proprietary CVR-DPC2 Micro cable, with which the device can operate 24 hours a day (parking mode). The cable has a built-in fuse and a special block for monitoring the voltage of the on-board network, which cuts off the power in case of a discharge of the car battery, leaving the opportunity to start the engine after a long stay.

Parking mode

The proprietary software supports the advanced parking video surveillance function. The user is offered several modes of operation in the parking lot, which are activated automatically:

Working in the "motion sensor" mode (recording only when motion is detected in the field of view of the lens)
Work in the "shock sensor" mode (recording only when the G-sensor is triggered)
Work in TimeLapse mode with a speed of 1 fps (instead of 30 fps), thus obtaining accelerated video with the general picture of the situation, and at the same time significantly saving space on the memory card.

* To fully implement the parking surveillance function, the DVR must be connected directly to the vehicle's on-board network to ensure uninterrupted power supply (using the ACV CVR-DPC2 Micro cable).

"Antisone" - the function is designed to periodically inform the driver with a sound signal and indication on the display about a long continuous trip, the need to rest. Configurable notification interval (1, 2 or 4 hours).

"Headlight control" - the function reminds the driver to turn on the headlights when driving at night or when entering tunnels, underground parking lots, garages, etc.
